Picked up both of the Life’s Track releases on Bosconi, haven’t heard such a dynamic release in a while. Each of the 8 tracks is perfect for a different place and vibe, highly recommend checking him out. @freemagic

Second release from the new Plangent label. Great 808 groove brought home with just the right amount of bass and a nice falling melody. @freemagic
Instead of compiling our favorite tracks of the year, we’ve decided to compile our favorite photos of YOU from 2011! Special thanks to WET PAINT for the beautiful photos, and special thanks to YOU for your beautiful faces.
Click here to view them all. See you amazing people in 2012. Much love from DISCOVERY! <3

I give you, the Holiday Robot of Funk. Beck’s Hanukkah/Christmas version of “Little Drummer Boy” has been one of my favorite holiday songs since my mom used to put it on her Christmas mixtapes. This song brings back memories of celebrating both Christmas and Hannukah, and the sickly french fry smell of my mom’s blue Chevy Lumina. Merry Christmas, and Happy Hanukkah yall. (@damonjablons)

We’ve spent many years tracking down most of these tracks and they’re in our bags often. this compilation is a great introduction to MK and the iconic deep 90s sound.
Macka B - Christmas Is Cancelled
Santa and Satan have the same letters. Coincidence? I think not. (@damonjablons)
Who’s in for DEMF this year? It’s going to be Faso’s 8th in a row. Top that and he’ll buy you a beer at an afterafter/before party called Shit Show in the D this year. Of course, this requires staying up very late or waking up very early. It’s up to you.
Halcyon is now shipping DSVCRY01 exclusively until the end of the year, grab a copy so we can all afford these hella tite rocket skates.

If you’re feet are still tingling from all that dancing last Saturday down deep in Santos basement, you’re in luck. Our dear friends at Daily Session recorded theFutureboogie set and you can download it here!
30 years (and a week) ago, krautrocker Manuel Göttsching made this song in a Berlin studio and changed music forever. (@damonjablons)
Check out Futureboogie, our guests for December, in RA’s Bristol feature a few months ago.
